1. Who We Are

Melvio is an Indian direct-to-consumer brand that manufactures and sells premium melamine tableware, dinner sets and gifting products. Our website is operated from India, and all transactions are governed by Indian law.

2. Eligibility

By placing an order on this website, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age, or are accessing the site under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian
• You are legally capable of entering into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872
• The information you provide during checkout is accurate, complete and current
• You are purchasing products for personal, household or gifting use and not for resale without prior written agreement from Melvio

3. Products, Pricing and Availability

All products listed on www.melvio.in are subject to availability. We reserve the right to withdraw or modify any product listing at any time without prior notice.

Prices displayed on our website are in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, even after an order has been placed. In such cases, we will notify you and offer the option to proceed at the corrected price or receive a full refund.

Product images are representative. Actual colours may vary slightly due to monitor calibration and natural variation in print batches. This does not constitute a defect and is not grounds for return unless the variation is materially significant.

4. Placing an Order

When you place an order on our website:

• You make an offer to purchase the selected product(s) at the stated price
• Your order is confirmed when you receive an order confirmation email with an order number
• A contract between you and Melvio is formed at the point of order confirmation
• We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion — for example, in cases of suspected fraud, unavailability, or error in pricing or product description

You may cancel your order within 2 hours of placement by contacting us at devendrachoudhary55@gmail.com. After this period, your order may have already entered fulfilment and cancellation may not be possible.

5. Payment

We accept online payments via Razorpay, which supports UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking and wallets. We also accept Cash on Delivery (COD) for eligible pin codes.

All online payments are processed by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway regulated under Reserve Bank of India guidelines. Melvio does not store your card or bank account details. By proceeding with payment, you agree to Razorpay's terms and privacy policy in addition to ours.

For Cash on Delivery orders, payment is due at the time of delivery. We reserve the right to withdraw COD availability at any time. Repeated non-payment or order refusal on delivery may result in COD being disabled for your account.

6. Shipping and Delivery

We deliver across India. Delivery timelines are estimates and not guarantees:

• Standard delivery: 5–7 business days from dispatch
• Express delivery: 2–3 business days (available at checkout for select pin codes)

Free standard shipping is available on orders above ₹1,999. A flat shipping fee of ₹99 applies to orders below this amount.

Melvio is not responsible for delays caused by courier partners, natural disasters, strikes, public holidays or other events beyond our reasonable control. Risk of loss and title for products passes to you upon dispatch.

If a delivery attempt fails due to an incorrect address provided by you, or if you are unavailable to accept delivery, re-delivery charges may apply and we are not obligated to offer a refund of the original shipping fee.

7. Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

Our full returns policy is available at www.melvio.in/returns. Key terms:

• Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for products in original, unused condition with packaging intact
• Unboxing video requirement: to claim a replacement or refund for a damaged product, you must provide an unboxing video recorded at the time of opening your parcel. Claims for transit damage submitted without an unboxing video cannot be processed. This condition exists to protect both parties and is a standard practice in e-commerce
• Personalised or customised items are non-refundable unless they arrive damaged
• Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days of return receipt and inspection
• Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 are not affected by these terms.

8. Product Use and Safety

All Melvio melamine products are made from food-grade melamine and manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management systems. By using our products, you agree to follow the care instructions provided:

• Do not use in a conventional oven, toaster oven or directly over a flame
• Microwave use should be limited to short durations (under 2 minutes) at medium power for reheating only
• Do not use to store highly acidic foods (such as lemon-based preparations) for extended periods
• Dishwasher safe on the top rack at gentle/low temperature cycle

Melvio accepts no liability for damage to products or personal injury arising from misuse contrary to the above instructions.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on www.melvio.in — including product designs, patterns, photographs, copy, trademarks, logos and brand identity — is the exclusive property of Melvio and is protected under the Copyright Act 1957, Trade Marks Act 1999 and applicable Indian intellectual property law.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any content from this website without our express prior written consent. Personal, non-commercial sharing (such as sharing a product link or screenshot for review purposes) is permitted.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Melvio's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of our website or purchase of our products shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of our website or products.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

11. User Conduct

When using our website, you agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any Indian or international law
• Submit false, misleading or fraudulent orders or information
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our website or systems
• Use automated tools, bots or scripts to scrape or interact with our website without prior consent
• Post or transmit any harmful, defamatory or offensive content

12. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites (including Razorpay, Instagram and courier tracking portals). These links are provided for your convenience only. Melvio has no control over the content or practices of third-party websites and accepts no responsibility for them. Visiting such sites is at your own risk.

13. Modifications to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via our website with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of our website shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation.

If not resolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. You also have the right to approach the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) or the appropriate State Consumer Forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
